Dead Rising 2 Confirmed

Capcom confirmed the speculation from this weekend that Dead Rising 2 is indeed on the way(AWESOME). You can get the above image in sexy wallpaper size right here if you like. And the official image definitely gives that "run down Vegas" look of some beat up neon lights. "The all new gambling paradise of Fortune City to explore" is noted below as the new locale for zombie action. Seems we get a Vegas clone in the game and I love the idea of a whole city to explore. I definitely have a wishlist for the sequel and that is a blog for the near future. Currently I am about half way through the original and loving it.The screenshots from the game have us wondering where our dear Frank is. Maybe we get a cameo appearance? Either way this looks impressive.Even better news? It is multiplatform and will be coming to PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
